Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has claimed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been kept in C class in jail and his life is in danger.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in his video message after the meeting of the core committee of Tehreek-e-Insaf that ‘It has come to our knowledge that the former Prime Minister of the country Imran Khan has been kept in C class in the cell of nine by eleven. Food is sent but not delivered to them. Lawyers are prevented from visiting. Our concern is right. Their lives are in danger. The “Supreme Judiciary” should take notice of this.
It should be noted that the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan was sentenced to three years imprisonment and a fine in the Toshah Khana case on August 5, after which he was arrested from his residence in Lahore and sent to Punjab province. He was transferred to a jail in the border district of Attock.
According to Shah Mahmood Qureshi, “I have lived in Attock Jail, there are no facilities there, even B class is not available. Lawyers tried to meet on Saturday and Sunday, but access is not being given. We have to file an appeal for Imran Khan on Monday, we have to litigate for his release, but we are not being given access.
